Occlusion

Occlusion, in a dental context, means simply the contact between teeth. It is the relationship between the maxillary (upper) and mandibular (lower) teeth when they approach each other, as occurs during chewing or at rest.

Misalignment of teeth and jaws can cause number of dental and health problems like migraines and headaches. Occlusal therapy can be used to correct these problems.
